The Dream That Became Canale Farms
The Story Behind Canale Farms
In 1986, Drew and Allison Canale traded the fast pace of Memphis for the quiet beauty of rural Fayette County, Tennessee. What began as a little less than 100 acres of farmland soon became a labor of love, as the couple transformed the property into a family farm where they would raise their daughters, Valarie and Leslie.
Over the years, Canale Farms grew into one of the largest all-breed boarding facilities in the Mid-South. The farm became home to riding lessons, horse shows, breeding programs, summer camps, and countless families who discovered a love for horses and the outdoors. What started with a single horse eventually grew into a thriving equestrian operation known throughout the region.
As more people visited the farm, Drew and Allison realized that what guests enjoyed most wasn't just the horses-it was the opportunity to slow down, spend time together, and experience life in the country. Families came to ride, celebrate birthdays, attend camps, and escape the rush of everyday life.
In 1995, Canale Farms hosted its first company picnic. The response was overwhelming. Guests embraced the combination of Southern hospitality, outdoor recreation, great food, and a beautiful countryside setting. What began as a horse farm soon evolved into a unique event destination where families, businesses, and organizations could gather, connect, and create lasting memories.
Today, Canale Farms hosts company picnics, family reunions, private celebrations, and special events throughout the Mid-South. While much has changed over the years, the heart of the farm remains the same: providing a welcoming place where people can come together, enjoy the outdoors, and experience the simple pleasures of time spent with family, friends, and coworkers.
Nearly four decades later, Canale Farms continues to be family-owned and operated, carrying on the vision Drew and Allison began with a dream, a farm, and a love for bringing people together.
